  • On Education Health Care and The War Against Terrorism

Did you know that when Fidel Castro took over Cuba , he wiped out illiteracy in the entire country ? It started with a small group who then went out and taught others and so and and so on until all Cubans young and old could read.

Would you agree that it is desirable to wipe out illiteracy ? Or would you say communism is so undesirable its better that people be uneducated  than risk using a communist country policy that worked and benefited all . I mean after all we are capitalist and no matter what the benefit if no one makes money  then its unamerican to teach everyone to read. Besides Castro was a dictator ,is that what you want ?  Because that is what will happen  if you teach everyone to read , the president will become a communist dictator and force you to read  anti american books.

France has the number 1 health care system in the world . It is a combination of private and public hospitals and doctors. The french are healthier , live longer and have a much  lower infant mortality rate and 60 % of their citizens are satisfied with their health care. Where as the U.S. is ranked about 37th and only 40% of its citizens are satisfied with the current system.(I would  guess those who have  va , medicare , or medicaid  which are basically public medicine for select groups are among those who approve as well as those who prosper on the ill health of others such a pill companies, as well as our elected representatives who have great benefits provided by the taxpayer already ) ... If I had to guess ..

Is it desirable for our citizens to be healthier , live longer and for the good of the many be our priority  ? Or is Socialism so undesireable that it is better to let those who can't afford a dr. or medicine  go untreated . At least we know that those of us who can afford it are free to choose our own doctor... oh wait we're not.. but we sure are able to get all kinds of tests and unneeded procedures since insurance pays for it. .But anyway  health care is a  business , not a public service  . Maybe  those who cant afford it should have gone to college and then maybe they could have gotten better jobs .

Besides if we pay for health care for the poor ,  then we couldn't afford our war in the middle east , Even if it was started based on lies told by those who are profiting from it , We must protect the American way no matter how great the number of lives sacrificed or how great the expense .

Even if it means denying an education or medical treatment to those who can't afford it , its better that they die ignorant and from untreated  preventable diseases  than at the hands of terrorists . After 8 years of war we can honestly say thank God for Black Water Contractors because we were running out of healthy young adults .

What do yo think about a private , for profit military for hire?  Contract soldiers I wonder who the main share holders of that one are ? Follow the money and it probably leads to ex cia agents  (just a guess)  and its not their fault that  what they thought were weapons of mass destruction  were only piles of  big rocks .

Can you imagine , now the President is trying to speak to our students while they are in school on the importance of an education ? We simply can not have the President of the United States encouraging our children to stay in school because then they might grow up thinking  the goverment elected of the people , by the people and for the people is just  another word  for Socialism.

When times are hard , logic looks for reason

Consider this , the rainy season.

Trapped in illusions of material form,

A soul in bondage tries to weather the storm.

But true freedom is learning to dance in the rain,

Transcending all fear, relieves all pain.

Embrace the thunder , when lightening strikes,

Let Spirit soar and soul take flight.

  • Blind Faith

I have often been questioned about my faith by those who do not have any. They question how I can believe in something that I can not see or prove exists.

Reason deals with factual knowledge; wisdom, with philosophy and revelation; faith, with living spiritual experience. [The Urantia Book, p. 1142, par. 1

In the beginning the questioning would cause me to have doubts of my own. I did not have anything concrete to base my faith on.

We gain knowledge from the experience of man, but we derive wisdom from the contemplation of the Most High. [The Urantia Book, p. 1443, par. 0]

This lead me to some questioning of my own and resulted in experiences that were beyond words ,  an inner knowing . I have my proof and the lack of faith by another no longer causes me doubt. I realize until experience makes it real for them , there is nothing I can do to convince them .

Why waste words upon one who cannot perceive the meaning of what you say? [The Urantia Book, p. 1440, pa

Imagine you are blind and I silently touch your hand. How do you know ? Because you can feel it. Can you prove it to other blind people that you were touched or even explain how a touch feels  a way anyone understand? The truth is they have to feel it for themselves before they will understand.

  • When I Remember To Say Thank You Instead of Asking Please.

I have so much to be thankful for...

My boys Cody, Randy, Dylan & Blake.

My grandchildren , Angel Alaina & Reese.

My love and best friend Roggie,

    Mr. Peabody (my faithful doggie).

Mother Earth , my sister Cindy and brother trees.

             I really enjoy

The feel of dirt and working in my garden .

     All  of the animals ,

I am  especially fond of   butterflies and bees.

Sun light , my butterfly kite and a perfect breeze.

                Moon light and stars ,

     Rain water

    Friends near and far

And all the wonders that never cease.

    Everday is Thanksgiving ,

     Full of

    Joy , Laughter , Love & Peace

When  I remember to say thank you ,

                 Instead of always asking please.
